2 more COVID-19 patients discharged in Assam, active cases 7 in the state
April 29: Two more COVID-19 patients were discharged in Assam. One of them is from Dhubri and the other from Goalpara. Both of them were undertaking treatment at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH), Guwahati. They were discharged on 29 April from MMCH after having tested negative for 3 consecutive times. They were now sent for 14 days home quarantine. This brings the number of recovered patients to 29 in Assam. So that means, at present, there are only 7 active cases of COVID-19 in the state.
Pleased to share that two more #COVID19 patients – Hazrat Ali of Dhubri and Samirul of Goalpara – are being discharged from MMCH after having tested negative for 3 consecutive times. They go for 14-day quarantine.

Sharing this information, state Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Pleased to share that two more #COVID19 patients – Hazrat Ali of Dhubri and Samirul of Goalpara – are being discharged from MMCH after having tested negative for 3 consecutive times.
