2 found Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Tuesday, 2 discharged

Aug. 31: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district.On Tuesday, Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 cases. The district has altogether 11 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 706 RAT tests and 90 RT-PCR tests were done. 02 patientswere discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,873 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,439 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,192 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
