2 found Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, none discharged

Sept. 6: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday, Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 13 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 820 RAT tests and 92 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,878 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,442 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,686 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
