2 expelled Congress MLAs meets BJP President Amit Shah

Dec. 26: Recently expelled for anti-party activities, former Assam Minister in the Tarun Gogoi cabinet shifted her political allegiance and met BJP President Amit Shah in Guwahati on Saturday. She was accompanied by MLA Rajdeep Goala from Lakhipur who was also expelled from the Congress.

In October, 2020, the APCC had expelled MLA Goala from the party for six years for his anti-party activities. In a similar note, on Friday APCC expelled Golaghat MLA Ajanta Neog from the primary membership of the party.

Both of them said that their meeting with the BJP supremo was cordial.
