2-day conference of all Deputy Commissioner’s of Assam begins in Tezpur

June 12: In its bid to offer good governance, the state government has organised a two-day conference of all Deputy Commissioner’s of Assam. The 2-day conference which began on Sunday was organised at Tezpur under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Expressing his views, CM Dr Sarma said, “Public well-being is our top priority & it is intrinsically linked with proper implementation of welfare schemes. Attending Day-1 of DCs’ Conference at Tezpur today to discuss implementation of flagship schemes & programmes and address specific concerns that might come in the way.  We are committed to welfare of our people and strengthen the roadmap for proper execution of Govt schemes. The 2-day DCs’ Conference is part of our Govt’s efforts to brainstorm issues with officials to remove all hurdles in the way of effective governance.”
