193 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 1 death registered

Oct. 3: On Sunday, out of 30,035 tests, 193 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,02,962. The positivity rate in the state is 0.64 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 103 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 01 more person lost his life in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,881. The recovery rate is 98.33 percent.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 246 persons tested positive in Assam and 4 deaths were registered.
