1849 patients discharged in Assam on Tuesday
Sept. 15: On Tuesday, 1849 patients were discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care Centres in Assam. With this, a total of 1,16,900 patients were discharged in Assam till now. At present, there are 29,180 active cases in the state. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1849 patients discharged today. I request all recovered patients to take care of their health properly. Best wishes to them and their families.”
Also, 2409 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Assam on Tuesday. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus cases has now gone upto 1,46,575. Further, during the day, 10 more deaths were reported from various parts of Assam, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 492.
