1,811 found Covid +ve in Assam, 3613 discharged & 19 deaths registered on Monday

Jan. 31: On Monday, out of 38.837 tests, 1,811 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,16,406. The positivity rate in the state is 4.66 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 389 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 19 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,461. The recovery rate is 96.03 percent. Also, 3,613 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 20,627 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 910 persons tested positive in Assam and 20 deaths were registered.
