169 tests +ve in Assam on Monday; 135 patients discharged
Active cases 3,179 in Assam
Nov. 23: On Monday, out of 25,225 tests 169 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,11,682 out of which, 3,179 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.67 percent.
On Monday, 135 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,07,525 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 975.
