169 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Saturday, 95 discharged & 3 deaths registered

Dec 4: On Saturday, out of 28,741 tests, 169 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,17,475. The positivity rate in the state is 0.59 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 74 positive cases during the day. Further, on Saturday, 03 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,116. The recovery rate is 98.60 percent. Also, 95 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,204 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Friday, 143 persons tested positive in Assam and 2 deaths were registered.
