One lakh foreign Ciggerate seized, two brothers arrested

way2barak, 4 December: During the special naka checking at Lailapur, one vehicle bearing regd. NL-01AB 3717 coming from Mizoram was intercepted and while search 1000 boxes of foreign made cigarettes (one box containing 10 package) were found concealed under the cement dust. Later the boxes of cigarettes were seized and 2 (two) persons namely 1) Tajul Uddin Barbhuiya

2) Amaz Uddin Barbhuiya both are were arrested and forwarded to the Silchar court in connection with Dholai Police Station case No 186/24 u/s 61(2)/318(4)/303(2)/317(2) BNS.

They are two brothers and residents of Boraitoli under Kalain PS. Further investigation has been on, informs Numal Mahatta, SP, Cachar.
