166 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday; 730 patients discharged
Active cases 8,802 in Assam
Nov. 1: On Sunday, out of 11,576 tests only 166 were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,06,517, out of which, 8,802 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1,43 percent.
On Sunday, 730 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,96,781 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more person in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 931.
