160 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 5 death registered

Oct. 10: On Sunday, out of 24,900 tests, 160 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,04,969. The positivity rate in the state is 0.64 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 60 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 05 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,926. The recovery rate is 98.37 percent.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 273 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 death was registered.
