Students of HS 1st year can now change institution, stream & subjects through Darpan: AHSEC

Nov. 2: In a significant development, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has given a special opportunity to the students admitted in HS First Year to change their institution, stream and subjects. Issuing a notification to this effect, AHSEC stated that this is a one-time opportunity given to the students of HS 1st year.

AHSEC specified that these changes can be done through the Darpan admission portal. This opportunity has been given in the greater interest of the students, guardians and institutions. For changing institutions, prior consent of both the institutions, that is, the parent institution in which the student has already got admission and the institution where the student wants to shift is required.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING OF INSTITUTE:

1. Login to DARPAN student portal http://studentcorner.darpan.ahseconline.in.
2. Get your Transfer Code as written in the dashboard page (You must have completed admissio for this).
3. Also download the “Change of Institute Application Form” from the My Applications menu or by clicking on the Transfer Code mentioned area in dashboard .
4. After filling the downloaded application, submit it to the institute where you want to take admission.
5. Please note that your transfer will be completed when both the institutes (admitted and new) approves your request.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING OF STREAM:

1. Ask your institute (where you have taken admission), to change the stream. They can easily change your stream from their DARPAN profile. No action needed from your side.

1. Ask your institute (where you have taken admission), to change/ modify subjects. They can easily change/ modify your subjects from their DARPAN profile. No action needed from your side.
