149 tests Covid +ve in Karimganj on Monday, 83 discharged
The district has currently 1,141 active COVID-19 cases
May 31: Karimganj registered 149 fresh COVID-19 cases on Monday, pushing the coronavirus tally in the district to 7,613. Of the 149 active cases detected on Monday, 129 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test and 20 under RT-PCR. It needs mention here that 58 positive cases were detected in Karimganj on Sunday.
The district has currently 1,141 active COVID-19 cases while 83 patients have been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Monday. 4,306 swab samples were collected on Monday. Altogether 2,91,596 swab samples have been tested so far. 28 persons with high risk contacts traced and tested on Monday.
Five new micro containment zones have come up on Monday at Bagbari Kaliganj village under Nilambazar Revenue Circle, Bhanga Bazaar (Ward No.10) and Marjatkandi (Ward No.10) under Badarpur Revenue Circle, Goombira village, Ganeshpur Colony and Wangirbond village under Ramkrishna Nagar Revenue Circle.
