146 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Thursday, 142 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec 9: On Thursday, out of 30,393 tests, 146 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,18,188. The positivity rate in the state is 0.48 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 65 positive cases during the day. Further, on Thursday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,120. The recovery rate is 98.60 percent. Also, 142 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,196 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 134 persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
