142 tests +ve in Assam on Tuesday; 102 patients discharged
Active cases 3,540 in Assam
Dec. 15: On Tuesday, out of 26,285 tests, 142 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,14,915 out of which, 3,540 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.54 percent.
On Tuesday, 102 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,10,398 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam from Cachar district due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1004.
