1417 patients discharged in Assam on Sunday
August 30: On Sunday, 1417 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, 83,927 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care Centres in the state. At present there are 21,548 active cases in the state. Ina tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1417 patients discharged today I advise all recovered patients to take good care of themselves. Stay healthy & blessed. Best wishes.”
Also, 1980 persons tested novel coronavirus positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of COVID-19 cases has now gone upto 1,05,774, out of which, 22,965 are active cases. During the day, Cachar district registered 107 fresh cases.
Further, 7 more persons died due to COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the death tally of the state has now gone upto 296.
