140 tests +ve in Assam on Thursday; 165 patients discharged
Active cases 3,516 in Assam
Dec. 10: On Thursday, out of 22,649 tests, 140 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,14,305 out of which, 3,516 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.62 percent.
On Thursday, 165 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,09,787 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 999.
