1384 detected +ve in Assam on Monday including 94 in Cachar, total rises to 33,576

July 27: On Monday, 1384 new novel coronavirus positive cases were detected from across Assam. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has gone upto 33,576, out of which, 9447 are active. Monday also witnessed 7 more deaths due to COVID-19 in Assam, thereby taking the death tally to 86. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, ““Alert ~ 1348 new #COVID cases ( Guwahati – 155 ) detected in Assam out of 21742 tests done in last 24 hours. Our low positivity rate of 6.19% is encouraging.”
