1351 persons discharged in Assam on Sunday
Oct. 4: On Sunday, 1351 persons were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,52,124 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged in the state. At present, there are 33,324 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1351 patients discharged today I advise recovered patients to take good care of their health. Eat well and sleep well to build strong immunity. Best wishes.”
On Sunday, 756 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,86,200. Moreover, during the day, another 14 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 749.
