13 new COVID-19 cases reported from 5 districts in Assam, total rises to 170
Active cases in Assam now stands at 115
May 20: Once again, the number of coronavirus cases has increased in Assam. On Wednesday evening, 13 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from 5 districts of Assam. This was informed by State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet. With this latest addition of 13 more patients, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has gone up to 170, out of which 115 are active cases.
- Hojai: 8 new cases
- Sonitpur: 2 new cases
- Kamrup Metro: 01 new case
- Kamrup: 01 new case
- Nagaon: 01 new case
Alert ~ 13 new cases of #COVID19 + confirmed. Break-up ~ 8 from Hojai; 2 from Sonitpur; 1 each from Kamrup Metro, Kamrup and Nagaon.
