1294 patients released on Saturday in Assam

July 25: On Saturday, 1294 patients were discharged from various hospitals in Assam. With this, a total of 23,055 patients were discharged as of now. Saturday further registered 1165 new coronavirus cases. At present, there are 7951 active cases in the state. One more patient died due to COVID on Saturday, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 77. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1294 patients are discharged today. Today is yet another good day as number of those discharged is again higher than new cases.”
