1277 discharged in Assam on Friday; 30,357 cured in the state

July 31: On Friday, 1277 persons were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, a total of 30,357 patients were cured and subsequently discharged in the state. Further, 1862 positive cases were detected in Assam on Friday. At present, there are 9811 active cases in Assam. Further, 4 deaths were also reported in Assam on Friday, thereby taking the death tally to 98. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1277 patients have been discharged today. S0 gratifying to see so many patients recovering & returning to their families! Wonderful work by doctors indeed.”
