117 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, 76 discharged

May 21: Hailakandi registered 117 new COVID-19 cases on Friday. Of the 117 positive cases detected on Friday, 102 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 17 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 814 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,456 RAT tests and 101 RT-PCR tests were done. 76 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 102 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 5,074.

As of now, in the 18 plus category, 8,828 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine. In the 45 plus category, 48,345 have received the 1st dose of the vaccine, whereas, 15,249 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
