116 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Tuesday, 52 discharged

May 18: Hailakandi registered 116 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Of the 116 positive cases detected on Tuesday, 112 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 04 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 824 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,774 RAT tests and 98 RT-PCR tests were done. 52 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 120 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 4,733.

As of now, in the 18 plus category, 6,094 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine. In the 45 plus category, 47,010 have received the 1st dose of the vaccine, whereas, 15,120 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
