1,065 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 19 deaths registered

Aug 4: On Wednesday, out of 1,19,188 tests, 1,065 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,70,504. The positivity rate in the state is 0.89 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 181 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 19 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,326. The recovery rate is 96.92 percent.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 1,182 persons tested positive in Assam and 13 deaths were registered.
