Armed forces, NDRF, SDRF evacuated more than 3,000 people in Silchar

June 20: As several parts of Cachar Distrct including urban and rural part of Silchar are totally submerged. INDIAN ARMY, CRPF, BSF, NDRF, SDRF are carrying out rescue operations in flood hit Cachar District in a massive way.

So far more than 3,000 people including pregnant women, children & senior citizens from different parts of Silchar town and Cachar District were rescued in these search and rescue operations.
