1060 patients discharged in Assam on Saturday
July 18: What appears to be a great relief for the state health department is that a huge number of 1060 patients were released from various hospitals across Assam on Saturday. With this, a total of 15,165 COVID patients were cured and subsequently discharged in Assam. As of now, there are 6643 active cases in the state. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “In a loud testimony to sterling job by our medical care teams, pleased to share that 1060 patients have been discharged today. Well done.”
