101 new COVID cases detected in Hailakandi on Tuesday, 31 discharged

May 11: Hailakandi registered 101 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Of the 101 positive cases detected on Tuesday, 96 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 05 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 475 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,581 RAT tests and 70 RT-PCR tests were done. 31 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 96 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday.

As regards vaccination in Hailakandi district, so far, 2,777 persons in the age group of 18 to 44 years have taken the jab. In the 45 plus category, 44,506 persons have taken the 1st dose, whereas, 14,659 were administered the 2nd dose of the Covid vaccine.
