10 tests +ve in Cachar during Diwali, tally reaches 10,646

Nov. 14: On Saturday, during the festival of Kali Puja & Diwali, a total of 10 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 806 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 10 persons were found positive, whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Saturday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 10,646. Further, a total of 10,471 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 37 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 138 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 26 persons were found positive in Cachar on Friday.
