10 days Spoken Sanskrit Course at Cachar College from 29 April

April 27: Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Cachar College, Silchar in collaboration with Sanskrit Bharati (a non-profit NGO), South Assam is going to organise Spoken Sanskrit Course of 10 days duration. Starting from 29 April, 2019 to 9 May, 2019, Cachar College will be organising this Spoken Sanskrit Course in its seminar room from 1 PM to 3 PM.

The Coordinator of this Spoken Sanskrit Course, Dr. Shilpi Dutta Majumder has appealed to interested candidates from any profession to get themselves enrolled for this course. She can be reached at shilpidm@gmail.com. The selection of candidates will be based on first-come first-serve basis. The course has already received heartening response from varied sections of society and hopes to organize courses of longer duration in future.

Sanskrit Bharati since its inception in 1981 has held 120000 Spoken Sanskrit Camps and trained 100000 Sanskrit teachers to teach in the medium of Sanskrit. It has 4500 centers across 19 countries across the globe. It has generated livelihood for its volunteers who in turn equip students with relevant teaching skills to create fluent and smart Sanskrit speakers many of whom have bagged international teaching assignments.
