1 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, 5 discharged

Aug 13: Hailakandi registered 01 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, which was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 35 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 798 RAT tests and 90 RT-PCR tests were done. 05 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,846 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,382 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 5 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,599 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
