1 in ventilator, 1 in oxygen support out of 14 active cases at SMCH on Sunday

Jan. 2: The Covid-19 cases at SMCH has somwhat increased at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) since the last 2 days. However, the last 24 hours (5 PM on 01 january to 5 PM on 02 January) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at SMCH. This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Sunday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 2 January, there were 14 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patient was put under ventilator support, and 01 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 01 Covid positive patient was admitted at SMCH and 02 were discharged.
