1 found Covid+ve in Karimganj & 3 in Hailakandi on Wednesday

Dec. 22: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Wednesday, Hailakandi registered 03 new COVID-19 cases. The district has altogether has 10 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,013 RAT tests and 94 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,935 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,498 patients were discharged. It needs mention here no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 2,156 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID case on Wednesday. The district has currently 16 active COVID cases, while 02 patients were discharged on Wednesday. 633 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 01 person was detected positive in Karimganj on Tuesday.
