1 found Covid positive in Hailakandi, but none in Karimganj on Tuesday

Oct. 5: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Tuesday, Hailakandi registered 01 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 05 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 413 RAT tests and 65 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,895 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,467 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,127 persons were vaccinated on Monday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Tuesday. The district has currently 08 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Tuesday. 1,090 swab samples were collected during the day.
