1 found Covid positive in Hailakandi, 3 in Karimganj on Monday

Oct. 25: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday, Hailakandi registered 01 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 08 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 479 RAT tests and 50 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,912 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,477 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,946 persons were vaccinated on Monday.

Karimganj registered 03 fresh COVID cases on Monday. The district has currently 11 active COVID cases, while 01 patient has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Monday. 1,051 swab samples were collected during the day.
