Thunderstorm with lightning & rainfall likely to occur in Barak Valley, Dima Hasao till 7 June

June 5: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati has issued alert for thunderstorm with lightning and very heavy rainfall at isolated places over South Salmara, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Barpeta, and thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places over Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Dima Hasao & Cachar.

Watch for Thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rain very likely at isolated places over Goalpara, Kamrup , Kamrup (M),Udalguri, Karbi Anglong, Biswanath, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Majuli, Charaideo, Dibrugarh, Hailakandi & Karimganj; Thunderstorm with lightning very likely at isolated places over Nagaon, Golaghat, Sonitpur, Tinsukia; and Heavy rain very likely at isolated places over Nalbari districts. This was stated by RMC in its District wise Weather Warning Bulletin for 5th to 7th June, 2022.
