8 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Monday, 122 active cases in the district

July 18: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Monday. As per the latest data, 08 persons (02 RT-PCR & 06 RAT) were found positive in the district on 18 July, 2022. All positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation & none took admission in hospitals. 09 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 31 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 06 persons were found positive, whereas 02 were detected positive out of 09 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 122. It needs mention here that on Sunday, 23 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar district.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 167 positive cases were detected and 46 were discharged in the district of Cachar. None has died during this phase.

District Administration Cachar in a message stated, “Public is requested to adhere to all COVID 19 protocols and keep themselves safe, as CoVID 19 cases have started creeping up again.”
