Jan. 3: On Sunday, a total of 04 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 285 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 04 persons were found positive, whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Sunday night.
With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,368. Further, a total of 11,288 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 42 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 05 persons were found positive in Cachar on Saturday.
