01 test +ve in Cachar on Tuesday, active cases 23 in the district

Jan. 26: On Tuesday, a total of 01 new case of COVID-19 was reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 780 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 01 tested positive, whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Tuesday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,446.  Further, a total of 11,385 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 23 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 03 patients were found positive in Cachar on Monday.
