01 Covid-19 patient die at Silchar Medical College in last 24 hours

May 30: Death of Covid-19 patients continued unabated in Barak Valley. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 29 May to 5 PM on 30 May) witnessed demise of only 01 Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH. The detailed reports were forwarded to the State Death Audit Board. The deceased from Cachar was identified as:

• Anwar Hussain Laskar (34) from Krishnapur in Cachar district was admitted at SMCH on 25 May. He died at 8.35 PM on 29 May, 2021.
