স্বাধীনতা দিবস উদযাপনে চূড়ান্ত প্রস্তুতি হাতে নিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার। এক বিবৃতিতে সরকার জানিয়েছে এ বার রাজ্যের ১৭টি জেলায় কেন্দ্রীয় অনুষ্ঠানে মন্ত্রীরা জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করবেন। এ জন্য স্বাধীনতা দিবসের আগের দিন অর্থাৎ মঙ্গলবার মন্ত্রীদের সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলায় পৌছতে বলা হয়েছে। তবে বাকি ১৬টি জেলায় জেলাশাসক ও মহকুমা শাসকেরা জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করবেন। সরকারি সূত্রের খবর অনুযায়ী, কাছাড় জেলায় জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করবেন মন্ত্রী পল্লব লোচন দাস এবং করিমগঞ্জে পতাকা তুলবেন মন্ত্রী পরিমল শুক্লবৈদ্য। গুয়াহাটির খানাপাড়ায় রাজ্য সরকারের কেন্দ্রীয় অনুষ্ঠানে জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করবেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সর্বানন্দ সোনোয়াল। এছাড়া মন্ত্রী হিমন্তবিশ্ব শর্মা গোলাঘাটে, রিহন দৈমারি ডিব্রুগড়ে, চন্দন ব্রহ্ম শোনিতপুরে, ফণীভূষণ চৌধুরী গোয়ালপাড়ায়, নবকুমার দোলে তিনসুকিয়ায়, ভবেশ কলিতা ধুবড়িতে জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করবেন। অন্য মন্ত্রীদের মধ্যে অতুল বরা নলবাড়িতে, তপন কুমার গগৈ যোরহাটে, পীযূষ হাজরিকা হোজাইয়ে, রঞ্জিত দত্ত নগাঁওয়ে,প্রমিলারানি ব্রহ্ম লখিমপুরে, কেশব মহন্ত শিবসাগরে, সিদ্ধার্থ ভট্টাচার্য বরপেটায়, ছুম রংহান মরিগাওয়ে জাতীয় পতাকা তুলবেন।
তবে মন্ত্রী চন্দ্রমোহন পাটোয়ারি রাজ্যের বাইরে থাকায় তাকে কোনও দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়নি।
Elaborate arrangements have been made by the state government of Assam to observe the Independence Day in a befitting manner. In a press release issued by the state government, it was informed that ministers will hoist the national flag in 17 districts of Assam. As such, the ministers have been directed to reach the districts assigned to them a day ahead of the Independence Day. However, in the rest 16 districts, the Deputy Commissioners will hoist the tricolor.
As per government sources, Minister Pallabh Lochan Das will hoist the national flag in Cachar district whereas Parimal Suklabaidya will hoist it in Karimganj. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will hoist the tricolor at Khanapara in Guwahati. In other diatricts, the national flag will be hoisted by Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in Golaghat, Rihan Daimari at Dibrugarh, Chandan Brahma at Sonitpur, Fani Bhushan Choudhury at Goalpara, Naba Kumar Doley at Tinsukia and Bhavesh Kalita at Dhubri.
Apart from them, the other Ministers who will hoist the tricolor are Atul Borah at Nalbari, Tapan Kumar Gogoi at Jorhat, Pijush Hazarika at Hojai, Ranjit Dutta at Nagoan, Pramila Rani Brahma at Lakhimpur, Keshab Mahanta at Sivasagar, Sidhhartha Bhattacharjee at Barpeta and Chhum Ronghan at Morigaon. However, Minister Chandra Mohan Patwari has not been entrusted with the responsibility of hoisting the national flag as he is presently out of the state.
