জম্মু-কাশ্মীরে ভেঙে পড়ল ভারতের যুদ্ধবিমান
IAF Jet crashes in Budhgam in J&K, 2 pilots dead

২৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি : জম্মু কাশ্মীরে ভারতীয় বায়ুসেনার যুদ্ধবিমান এম আই ১৭ ভেঙে পড়েছে। এই দুর্ঘটনায় বিমানের পাইলট প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন। এ দিকে,পাকিস্তানের সংবাদ মাধ্যম দাবি করেছে, পাকিস্তান ভারতের দুটি বিমান ধ্বংস করেছে। এক ভারতীয় পাইলটকে তারা গ্রেফতার করেছে বলে জানিয়েছে। তবে ভারতের পক্ষ থেকে এ পর্যন্ত কোনও বিবৃতি জারি করা হয়নি।

অন্যদিকে প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানিয়েছেন, বুদগাম জেলার গারেন্দ কালাম গ্রামের একটি খোলা মাঠে জেট বিমানটি ভেঙে পড়ে। বিমানটি দু টুকরো হয়ে যায় এবং আগুন ধরে পড়ে। যে স্থানটিতে দুর্ঘটনা হয়েছে, তার পাশ থেকে দুটি মৃতদেহও উদ্ধার হয়েছে।

However, the Pakistan military claimed it had shot down the aircraft along with another Indian jet after they “violated Pakistani airspace”. Major General Asif Ghafoor, the head of the media wing of Pakistan’s military, had earlier claimed in a tweet that one of the aircraft fell in Jammu and Kashmir, while the other fell in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Officials said the chopper developed a technical snag and hit a brick kiln at Garinder Kallan village in Budgam at 10.45 am. The chopper was completely burnt in the fire which sent large plumes of smoke in the air.
