ওয়েটুবরাক, ১৪ আগস্টঃ নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা, শিলচর, ১৪ আগস্ট: কিছু মানুষ শুধু টাকা চাই, টাকা চাই করে জীবন কাটায়। আর কিছু মানুষ রয়েছেন, যারা সমাজের ভালমন্দে জড়ান না, শুধু ঈশ্বর ঈশ্বর করেন। উভয়কেই অবিদ্যা বলে উল্লেখ করে গিয়েছেন ঋষি শ্রীঅরবিন্দ।
“অ্যাডভেঞ্চার অব কনশাসনেস” শীর্ষক একদিনের এক কর্মশালায় আজ বৃহস্পতিবার এই মন্তব্য করেন রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রাক্তন উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক অমলেন্দু চক্রবর্তী ।
শিলচর উইমেন্স কলেজের সম্মেলন কক্ষে অনুষ্ঠিত ওই কর্মশালায় তিনি বলেন, জীবনকে আলোকিত করতে গেলে বিদ্যা ও অবিদ্যাকে মিলিয়ে দিতে হবে। অর্থাৎ শ্রীঅরবিন্দের কথায়, মানুষকে মনেপ্রাণে ভালবাসতে হবে। পার্থিব রূপের মধ্যেই ঈশ্বরকে খুঁজতে হবে। মানুষকে ভালবাসলেই ঈশ্বরকে ভালবাসা হবে।
উইমেন্স কলেজের সহযোগিতায় শিলচরের শ্রীঅরবিন্দ ট্রাস্ট এই কর্মশালার আয়োজন করে। প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রাক্তন উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক অমলেন্দু চক্রবর্তী এবং বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দর্শন বিভাগের অধ্যাপক নির্মলি বর্মন।
অধ্যাপক অমলেন্দু বলেন, সব ক্ষেত্রেই মনেপ্রাণে ভালবাসতে হবে। পড়াশোনা করতে গিয়েও বিষয়কে ভালবাসা চাই। তিনি রবীন্দ্রনাথ, রামকৃষ্ণ, ঈষোপনিষদ টেনে বলেন, প্রাচীন ভারতকে নতুন করে আবিষ্কার করতে হবে। এই কাজে এগিয়ে এসেছিলেন রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর ও ঋষি অরবিন্দ। এখন একে এগিয়ে নিতে হবে।

এ দিন উদ্বোধনী পর্বে অধ্যাপক নির্মলি বর্মন, উইমেন্স কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ ড. সুজিত তিওয়ারি এবং শ্রীঅরবিন্দ ট্রাস্টের সভাপতি মহামায়া দেবও বক্তব্য রাখেন। টেকনিক্যাল সেসনে ড. নিশিকান্ত পাটোয়া এবং ড. বিশ্বজিৎ সাহুও বক্তৃতা করেন।
অনুষ্ঠানে মায়ের সঙ্গীতের সঙ্গে সমবেত ধ্যান, অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বক্তব্য, সাংস্কৃতিক পরিবেশনা ও মতবিনিময় পর্ব অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল। শিলচর কলেজিয়েট স্কুল, রামানুজ বিদ্যমন্দির, হিরণপ্রভা দেব শিশু মন্দির, রামানুজ গুপ্ত ডিগ্রি কলেজ ও উইমেন্স কলেজের শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীরা সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
পরে মতবিনিময় পর্ব পরিচালনা করেন ট্রাস্টের সচিব অধ্যাপক প্রদীপ্ত দাস। সনদ বিতরণ করেন শাশ্বতী ভট্টাচার্য। মায়ের গান পরিবেশন করেন  দেবাঞ্জনা ভট্টাচার্য।
অধিবেশন পরিচালনায় ছিলেন অঞ্জনাভ দেব, সৌমিত্র রায় ও সুদীপ দত্ত। সমন্বয়কের ভূমিকা পালন করেন তমাল চক্রবর্তী, তাঁকে সহযোগিতা করেন  সুপর্ণা দাস, সোমা পুরকায়স্থ ও বন্দনা পাল।

way2barak, Aug 14: Aurobindo Trust, Silchar, in collaboration with Women’s College, Silchar, organised a One Day Workshop on “Adventure of Consciousness” on 14th August, 2025 at the Conference Hall, Women’s College, Shillongpatty, Silchar. The programme aimed to spread the spiritual vision of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, fostering conscious living and holistic growth among students and the community.

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. Amalendu Chakrabarty, Ex-Vice Chancellor, RNTU, Hojai, and Senior Member, Sri Aurobindo Society, Guwahati, as Chief Guest; and Prof. Nirmali Barman, Professor of Philosophy, Assam University, Silchar, as Guest of Honour. Dr. Sujit Tiwari, Principal of Women’s College, and Smt. Mahamaya Deb, President of Sri Aurobindo Trust, also addressed the gathering.

The programme includedcollective meditation with the Mother’s music, inspirational talks, cultural presentations, and an interactive exchange of ideas. Students and faculty members from various educational institutions of Silchar namely Silchar Collegiate School, Ramanuj Vidyamandir, Hironprova Dev Sishu Mandir, Ramanuj Gupta Degree and Women’s College participated in the workshop.

In the workshop, technical sessions were taken by Smt. Mahamaya Deb, Prof. Amalendu Chakrabarty, Dr. Nishikant Patoa and Dr. Biswajit Sahoo. The interactive session conducted by Prof Prodipto Das. The certificate distribution was done by Smt. Saswati Bhattacharjee. The Mother’s song was performed by Miss Debanjana Bhattacharjee. Three sessions chairs were Shri Anjanabha Deb, Shri Soumitra Ray and Shri Sudip Dutta. The programme was coordinated by Shri Tamal Chakrabarty and supported by Smt. Suparna Das, Smt. Soma Purkayastha and Smt. Bandana Paul. In the morning, the registration of students was done by Smt. Rajlaxmi Bhattacharjee.

The workshop was also attended by public, devotees, and well-wishers and were benefited from the enlightening sessions.
