Sai Vikash paid homage to the 11 Martyrs of Bengali Language in Barak Valley.

Way2barak, May 21 : Along with the entire valley Bhasa Sohid Divas was observed in the new campus of Sai Vikash Vidya Niketan, Silchar. All the teachers and students gather together to commemorate a very vital and important day in the history of our valley. It is a day of remembrance, reflection, and recognition of the sacrifices made by brave individuals who laid down their lives for the preservation and upliftment of bengali Language.

It began early in the morning with paying homage to the 11 Martrys with fowers by the Academic director, Mutyala Naidu Beesetti and other teachers as well. Following that, students arranged for a wonderful speech in Bengali, citing the brief history and importance of the day with all zeal and enthusiasm. Following that, some teachers and students presented a beautiful song depicting the importance of mothertongue.

Speaking at the event, the institute’s Academic Director, delivered a speech on how it is important to always keep the spirit of our mother tongue alive in us forever. He further paid his regards to the martyrs of bengali language for their selfless sacrifice for their mother tongue.
