অমৃত কলসে দুঃস্থদের এক মাসের খাবার দিল সত্যসাই সেবা সমিতি
93rd Birthday of Sathya Sai celebrated amidst a host of programmes

২৩ নভেম্বর : শিলচর শহরের মোট ৯ জনকে অন্নপূর্ণা অমৃত কলসম-এর আওতায় এক মাসের খাবারের ব্যবস্থা করল শ্রীসত্যসাই সেবা সংস্থার শিলচর সমিতি। এদের মধ্যে গরিব পরিবারের মানুষ যেমন রয়েছেন, তেমনি কয়েকজন প্রতিবন্ধীকেও রাখা হয়েছে। শহরের সার্কিট হাউস রোডে থাকা সত্যসাই শান্তি নিলয়মে শুক্রবার সমাজের অসহায় ও বঞ্চিতদের হাতে এই অমৃত কলস তুলে দিয়েছেন সমিতির সদস্যরা। শ্রীসত্যসাই বাবার ৯৩তম শুভ জন্মজয়ন্তী উৎসব উপলক্ষে এই সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দেয় সমিতি।

শিলচরে বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানের মধ্য দিয়ে জন্মজয়ন্তী পালন করা হচ্ছে। সমিতি গত ১০ নভেম্বর থেকে বিশ্বব্যাপী অখণ্ড ভজন দিয়ে জন্মজয়ন্তী পালন শুরু করে। পরের দিনও একইভাবে ভজন ছিল। এরপর ১৯ নভেম্বর শক্তি স্বরূপিনী দিবসে মহিলা শাখার পক্ষ থেকে ১৯ জন দুঃস্থ মহিলাকে কম্বল বিতরণ করা হয়।

এ দিকে, শুক্রবার ভোরে নগর কীর্তনের মধ্য দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হয়। গণেশ বন্দনা, অমৃত কলসম-এর পর স্কুল ছাত্রছাত্রীরা ভজন পরিবেশন করে। এছাড়া সত্যসাই বাবার ওপর এক তথ্যচিত্রও প্রদর্শন করা হয়। শনি ও রবিবারও যথারীতি নানা অনুষ্ঠান রেখেছে সমিতি। শনিবার মন্দিরে রক্তদান এবং রবিবার কাঠাল রোডে গোশালায় গোমাতা সেবা করা হবে।

November 23: Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Silchar distributed food materials for one month among the poor, distressed and differential-able under their ‘Annapurna Amrit Kalasam’ initiative. The members of the organisation distributed the edible items on Friday at Sathya Sai Shanti Nilayam located at Circuit House Road, Silchar. The event was organised to commemorate the 93rd birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

A number of events has been organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Silchar as a part of their celebration. The birthday celebration was started on 10 November with singing of Sai Bhajans which continued till the next day. This was followed by distributing blankets among 19 distressed ladies on 19 November by the female members of the organisation to mark the ‘Shakti Swarupini Day.’

Meanwhile, on Friday, the programme started with a procession wherein the devotees went around the town singing Bhajans and kritans. This was followed by the ‘Annapurna Amrit Kalasam’ programme. The school students also sang Bhajans during this programme. A documentary was shown on this occasion on the life and various other aspects of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Many other programmes will be held on Saturday and Sunday. A blood donation camp will be held at the Sai temple Silchar on Saturday; whereas on Sunday, they will devote their service at Kathal Road ‘Goshala’.
