Assam’s athlete, Hima Das wins gold at Poznan Grand Prix

July 4: Assam’s athlete, Hima Das won 200 m gold at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland. Hima Das, popularly known as ‘Dhing Express’ who holds a personal best of 23.10s, finished at 23.65s at the event. While South African sprinter Tamzim Thomas emerged second by clocking 23.71, another Indian sprinter, V.K. Vismaya stood third by clocking 23.75.
