Construction of 119 model high schools in tea gardens of Assam to begin from 1 Nov

Oct. 10: A meeting was chaired by State Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday with Public Works Department (PWD). The meeting discussed the proposed construction of 119 Model High Schools in different Tea Garden areas in Assam. The construction work, with an estimated cost of Rs 142.5 crore will begin from 1 November, 2020.
