Social Work dept. AUS org awareness Program on Menstrual Hygiene Management

Way2barak, May 14 : The Department of Social Work of Assam University, Silchar, in collaboration with Dhaga NGO, organized an awareness program on Menstrual Hygiene Management on tuesday. The event, held under the guidance of Dr. Tarun Bikas Sukai, Head of the Social Work Department, featured Dr. Rahul Dutta from Silcoorie Health and Wellness Centre as the resource person. Mrs. Panu Mahanta was also in attendance.

Dr. Dutta emphasized the importance of maintaining good menstrual hygiene and the use of sanitary pads. The program concluded with the distribution of sanitary pads to attendees. The event took place at Lakshmi Narayan M.E. School, Silcoorie. Students Troyee Dey and Pallavi Das, along with other department members and Dhaga NGO representative Iman Chakraborty, participated in this impactful session.
